Grants & Funding for Edenix

Most institutions do not lack interest in this technology. They lack a budget line for it. Below are the Indian schemes that schools, ITIs, KVKs, universities and farmers actually use to pay for equipment like Edenix — and exactly what we supply for your application.

Before you apply anywhere — ask us about educational pricing

We are a young company and cannot make large donations or give systems away. What we can do is price differently for education. Ask us about current educational pricing for schools, ITIs, KVKs and universities, and about rates for agriculture clubs, NSS units and student societies running the system as a group project.

For Schools

The strongest single route in the country for a school. If your school already has an Atal Tinkering Lab, the money is likely already sanctioned.

Atal Tinkering Labs (ATL) — Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog

₹20 lakh / school

Grant-in-aid of ₹20 lakh per school: ₹10 lakh one-time establishment cost plus ₹10 lakh operations and maintenance at ₹2 lakh a year for five years. The capital portion is meant for exactly this kind of equipment — the official packages cover electronics, robotics, IoT and sensors. An Edenix Institutional at ₹3,49,000 fits inside the first-year capital grant with room to spare, and the ₹2 lakh annual O&M line covers consumables and our AMC. Capital spend is expected to go through GeM, though AIM guidance states the vendor list is indicative and schools may procure elsewhere at their discretion with due diligence.

CSR Funding — Companies Act, Section 135

Varies

Indian companies above the specified thresholds must spend 2% of average net profit on CSR, and both education and rural development are qualifying heads. A single Edenix is a well-defined, photographable, reportable project of the size CSR committees like — and local industry is usually more willing to fund a named school in its own district than a general programme. Approach the CSR head of a large employer near you, not their marketing team.

Samagra Shiksha — ICT & Vocational Education components

State-allocated

Government and aided schools receive annual grants under Samagra Shiksha, including heads for ICT infrastructure and vocational education. Allocation and approval sit with your State Project Office, so amounts and timing vary by state. Worth raising with your district education officer alongside an ATL application rather than instead of one.

For Universities, ITIs & KVKs

Higher education buys equipment from departmental capital budgets far more often than from grants. Where a grant is used, these are the usual ones.

Departmental & laboratory capital budget

Institutional

The most common route, and the fastest. An Edenix Institutional sits in the same price band as a mid-range lab instrument, but serves mechanical, electronics, computer science and agriculture departments simultaneously. We supply a written budget-justification document and technical specification sheet formatted for a purchase committee — see the cost-per-student working on our ROI page.

ICAR & State Agricultural University development funds

Institutional

Agricultural universities and KVKs receive development and infrastructure funding through ICAR and their state agriculture departments, including heads for demonstration units and experiential learning. A precision-agriculture demonstration bed maps cleanly onto extension and farmer-training mandates — a KVK running farmer demonstration days will reach far more people per rupee than a classroom will.

What we supply for your application — free, and before you commit to anything

  • Formal quotation on letterhead with GST breakdown, valid for your tender or sanction period
  • Budget justification note written for a purchase or finance committee, not a marketing brochure
  • Technical specification sheet in the format most equipment tenders ask for

  • Standards mapping document against NEP 2020, your board and, where relevant, ICAR or AICTE outcomes
  • Proforma invoice and purchase-order terms for institutions that cannot pay in advance

Email info@kalpyantra.ai with your institution type and the scheme you are applying under, and we will send the set that fits.

A word of advice on applications

The applications that succeed describe an outcome, not a machine. “We will buy a precision farming robot” is weak. “120 Class 8–10 students will complete a 14-lesson module in robotics and soil science, assessed against NEP 2020 experiential learning outcomes, producing measured data on water use” is fundable. The curriculum exists precisely so you can write the second version. Take it, put it in your own words, and attach it.
